Frequently asked questions
What is the brand background and history of Premier Education?
Premier Education was founded in New York in 2010 and has physical office locations in Taipei, bringing over 16 years of top-tier experience in international curriculum tutoring and college admissions counseling. With dual-city teams in New York and Taipei, we hold deep, firsthand insights into local education systems and the latest admissions trends in the US, UK, and beyond. Over the past 16 years, we have guided more than 35,000 international school students to academic success, with 85% gaining admission to Top 25 US universities.
What international school tutoring and counseling services does Premier Education offer?
We specialize in subject-specific tutoring (IB, AP, IGCSE, A-Level) for GPA boosting, standardized test preparation (SAT/ACT), and comprehensive 1-on-1 college admissions consulting for top universities in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.
How long does the free consultation take, and who will conduct it?
The consultation takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes and is conducted 1-on-1 by a senior admissions consultant or academic tutor from Premier to provide personalized feedback based on the student's unique situation.
Is it suitable to start consulting if the student is currently in middle school or lower grades?
Yes. Admissions to top-tier universities require long-term strategic planning. The earlier a student builds a solid GPA foundation and an extracurricular roadmap, the less stress they will experience during high school, significantly increasing their chances of admission to their dream schools.
What is the background of Premier’s teaching and advisory team?
Our team of tutors and advisors consists of graduates from elite universities in the US and UK (such as Ivy League institutions, Oxford, and Cambridge). Our team also includes former admissions officers from prestigious universities like New York University (NYU), bringing unparalleled, real-world insight into international school education and college consulting.
Can consultations be conducted online, or do we need to visit in person?
We offer both in-person meetings at our center and online video consultations for the convenience of students and families across Taiwan and overseas.
